Future First Responders of Texas LEA Direct Fund Scholarship

The Future First Responders of Texas Law Enforcement Academy Direct Fund Scholarship is established with a gift from the Future First Responders of Texas and shall be funded annually for students of Brazosport College who have been accepted into the Law Enforcement Program. The goal for this scholarship will be to award 5 scholarships per year to be used to help defray a student’s tuition and fees. This fund will be a last pay scholarship and any remaining balance should be returned to the Future First Responders of Texas account. Student recipients must enroll or be enrolled in CJLE 1524 and CJLE 1329 classes and make consistent progress toward his or her LEA certification at Brazosport College. The Law Enforcement Academy Program Coordinator shall screen applicants and notify Brazosport College’s Financial Aid staff of qualified applicants.
